Labex is a manufacturer and supplier of laboratory equipment, established in 1979 under the leadership of Mr Willie Proost. Labex is known for its excellent service and quality products. Our range of equipment is of the highest quality, with majority of our product lines carrying the CE mark . We pride ourselves in supporting and distributing locally manufactured equipment as well as imported ranges into Sub-Saharan Africa. Our sales team is dynamic and forward thinking headed by Malcolm Cochrane who has in excess of 25 years experience in the Laboratory Equipment field. The company is owner operated under the directorship of Mandy Proost, who has seen Labex evolve from a small entrepreneurial start up, to a medium size corporate. Labex has secured several significant tenders in the mining and health sectors, and attained BEE status in 2006. Labex is currently a Level II BEE Company.
